Configure a custom From address

BadgeCert can send emails from an address on your organization’s domain, for example:

no-reply@badges.example.com

The From address must use a dedicated sending subdomain, such as badges.example.com.

Setup

1. Choose the From address you want to use.
2. Contact BadgeCert Support at support@badgecert.com and include the full From address in your request.
3. BadgeCert Support will provide the DNS records required to authenticate the sending domain.
4. Ask your DNS administrator to add the records exactly as provided.
5. Let BadgeCert Support know once the DNS records have been added.
6. Wait for BadgeCert Support to confirm that the domain has been verified.
7. In BadgeCert, go to Settings → Company Profile → From Email and enter the new From address.
8. Issue a test badge and confirm that the email is delivered successfully.

Do not change your From address before verification

Continue using your current From address until BadgeCert Support confirms that the new sending domain has been verified.
